New proposed affordable housing is being planned in our neighborhood on 23rd St. NE between D and Center Streets. The draft plan is to have 156 one to four bedroom apartments for families. Rents would be at 30% and 60% of the median household income, about $500 and $1000 a month for a one bedroom.
